DELIVERY TERMS

Splendido e.U. currently delivers exclusively to Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

An expansion of the delivery area to additional EU countries is in preparation. Orders from other countries can be registered via our waiting list.

In Austria, we use Österreichische Post (insured shipping) as our shipping partner; for deliveries to Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, we use UPS, as well as other delivery service providers where applicable.

Shipping costs: Standard shipping is free for all orders to Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium — regardless of the order value. For deliveries to Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, we optionally offer UPS Express for an additional charge of € 19,99.

Delivery time from dispatch: Austria 1–2 business days. Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium 3–5 business days with UPS Standard or 1–2 business days with UPS Express. If different delivery times apply, we will inform you directly on the respective product page.

Orders placed from Monday to Friday before 12:00 p.m. will be dispatched no later than the second following business day — provided there is no public holiday.

If not all ordered items are in stock, we reserve the right to make partial deliveries — additional shipping costs will only be incurred by express agreement.

If the customer refuses to accept the goods or fails to collect the shipment within the storage period set by the delivery provider, the customer is in default of acceptance. The actual additional costs incurred as a result, in particular return shipping and redelivery costs, shall be borne by the customer; we are entitled to deduct these from any refund. If the returned goods or their case/packaging show damage beyond what is necessary for a simple inspection, we reserve the right to claim reasonable compensation for the loss in value pursuant to § 16 FAGG. This does not apply insofar as the customer has effectively withdrawn from the contract.

If an ordered product is permanently unavailable, we will inform you immediately and, where possible, suggest a comparable product. If you do not wish to receive a replacement, we will refund the purchase price in full.

RETURNS

All items are carefully inspected and documented before dispatch — for your security and our quality control.

Right of withdrawal: You may withdraw from the contract within 30 days without stating a reason (statutory period of 14 days pursuant to § 11 FAGG, voluntarily extended to 30 days). The period begins on the day you receive the goods. After declaring your withdrawal, you have 14 days to return the goods to us (§ 15 FAGG).

Return shipping costs:

Returns are free of charge for you. Splendido e.U. covers the return shipping costs. After receiving your withdrawal declaration, we will provide you with a free return label by email. Simply drop off the prepaid parcel with the specified shipping provider.

We recommend keeping the proof of postage until the refund has been completed.

Return conditions – Please read carefully

You have the right to inspect the item in the same way as would be possible in a retail store (e.g. briefly trying it on in front of a mirror). Inspection is possible without removing the security seal or label.

Every piece of jewellery is delivered with a security seal (label) identifying its original condition.

Full refund (100%): If the item is returned with the security seal intact, in its original condition and original packaging, we will refund the full purchase price. The statutory period is 14 days from receipt of your withdrawal declaration (§ 13 FAGG); as a rule, we issue the refund within 7 business days of receiving your return.

Compensation for signs of use: If the security seal has been removed or the item shows signs of use beyond a simple inspection (e.g. signs of wear, scratches, residue from cosmetics, perfume or skin contact, stretched chains), we reserve the right to deduct reasonable compensation for the resulting loss in value from the refund. If the item can no longer be sold as new, this compensation may amount to up to the full value of the goods (§ 16 FAGG).

Free return shipping is a service offered to support a genuine purchasing decision — not for the temporary use (“rental”) of jewellery. We ask that you treat this service fairly.

Responsibility: You are responsible for any possible loss in value of the goods resulting from use beyond a simple inspection.

Effectiveness of withdrawal: Your withdrawal is effective as soon as you declare it. We will issue the refund as soon as the goods have been received by us or you have provided us with proof of dispatch (§ 13 para. 2 FAGG).

Damaged returns: In the event of damaged jewellery or packaging, we reserve the right to deduct a reasonable amount from the refund.
