Right of withdrawal & returns — Splendido e.U.
All items are carefully inspected, checked, and photographed before dispatch — for your security and our quality control.
Legal basis: Pursuant to Section 11 of the FAGG (Austria), implementing the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. In addition, we voluntarily grant an extended period of 30 days.

Please return the goods, where possible, with the original packaging and original labelling. If the label is no longer intact, we will generally still refund the goods, but reserve the right to claim reasonable compensation for diminished value pursuant to Section 16 of the FAGG if use has gone beyond mere inspection.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without stating any reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day on which you or a third party named by you — other than the carrier — takes possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please inform us by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email or letter) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. After declaring your withdrawal, you have 14 days to return the goods to us (Section 15 of the FAGG). We recommend using the model withdrawal form below. Return shipping costs
Returns are free of charge for you. Splendido e.U. covers the return shipping costs. Once we receive your withdrawal declaration, we will provide you with a free return label by email. Simply drop off the prepaid parcel with the specified shipping provider.
We recommend keeping the proof of postage until the refund has been completed.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made according to the customer’s specifications or clearly tailored to their personal needs (Section 18(1)(3) of the FAGG) — in our case, this concerns custom-made and made-to-measure items — such as rings made specifically in your size. We will inform you separately of the non-existence of the right of withdrawal before you place your order. For further information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
Return conditions – Please read carefully
You have the right to inspect the item in the same way that would be possible in a retail store (e.g. briefly trying it on in front of a mirror). Inspection is possible without removing the security seal or label.
Each piece of jewellery is delivered with a security seal (label) indicating its original condition.
Full refund (100%): If the item is returned with its security seal intact, in its original condition and original packaging, we will refund the full purchase price. The statutory period is 14 days from receipt of your withdrawal declaration (Section 13 of the FAGG); as a rule, we issue the refund within 7 business days of receiving your return.
Compensation for diminished value in the event of signs of use: If the security seal has been removed or the item shows signs of use that go beyond mere inspection (e.g. signs of wear, scratches, traces of cosmetics, perfume or skin contact, stretched chains), we reserve the right to deduct reasonable compensation for the resulting loss in value from the refund. If the item can no longer be sold as new, this compensation may amount to the full value of the goods (Section 16 of the FAGG).
Free return shipping is a service offered to support a genuine purchase decision — not for the temporary use (“rental”) of jewellery. We ask that you treat this service fairly.
Responsibility
The buyer is responsible for properly returning the goods and for any loss in value resulting from use that goes beyond the mere inspection of their condition, characteristics, and functionality.
Completion of the withdrawal
Your withdrawal is effective as soon as you declare it. We will issue the refund as soon as the goods have arrived at our premises or you have provided us with proof of dispatch (Section 13(2) of the FAGG).
Refund:
We will refund the purchase price, including the original shipping costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal declaration, subject to the return of the goods or proof thereof (Section 13 of the FAGG, Article 13(3) of the Consumer Rights Directive).
Damaged returns
We reserve the right to deduct a reasonable amount from the refund if jewellery or packaging is returned damaged.
