Right of Withdrawal & Returns — Splendido e.U.

All items are carefully inspected, checked, and photographed before shipping — for your safety and our quality control.

Legal basis: Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days according to § 11 FAGG (Austria) implementing the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. We voluntarily grant an extended period of 30 days.

Please return the goods preferably with the original packaging and original labeling. If the label is no longer intact, we will generally still refund the goods but reserve the right to claim reasonable compensation for loss of value according to § 16 FAGG if the use has gone beyond mere inspection.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day you or a third party named by you — who is not the carrier — take possession of the goods.

Return shipping costs

Return shipping is free for you. The costs of return shipping are covered by Splendido e.U. After receiving your withdrawal declaration, we will provide you with a free return label by email. Simply take the prepaid package to the nearest post office.

We recommend keeping the proof of postage until the refund is completed.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to customer specifications or clearly tailored to the personal needs of the buyer. For more information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

Return conditions

Return conditions – Please read carefully

You have the right to examine the item as you would be able to in a physical store (e.g., brief try-on in front of a mirror). Inspection is possible without removing the security seal or label.

Each piece of jewelry is delivered with a security seal (label) that marks the original condition.

Full refund (100%): If the item is returned with the intact security seal, in original condition and original packaging, we will refund the full purchase price within 7 business days after receipt and inspection of the goods.

Compensation for loss of value due to signs of use: If the security seal is removed or the item shows signs of use beyond mere inspection (e.g., wear marks, scratches, residues of cosmetics, perfume or skin contact, stretched chains), we reserve the right to deduct reasonable compensation for the resulting loss of value from the refund. If the item can no longer be sold as new, this compensation may amount to the full value of the goods (§ 16 FAGG).

The free return shipping is a service offer for a genuine purchase decision — not for temporary use (“rental”) of jewelry. We ask for fair treatment.

Responsibility

The buyer is responsible for the proper return and any loss of value of the goods caused by use beyond mere inspection of the condition, properties, and functioning.

Completion of withdrawal

The withdrawal is considered completed once the items have been received and inspected by us. The refund will be made immediately after the inspection via the payment method chosen at the time of order.

Refund:

We will refund the purchase price including the original shipping costs (except for additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us) within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal declaration, subject to the return of the goods or proof thereof (§ 13 FAGG, Art. 13 para. 3 Consumer Rights Directive).

Damaged returns

We reserve the right to deduct a reasonable amount from the refund for returned jewelry or packaging that is damaged.
