Material & Quality
585 gold is a gold alloy with a pure gold content of 58.5%—hence the “585” hallmark. The remaining 41.5% consists of metals such as silver, copper, or palladium, which give the alloy hardness, color, and everyday durability. Pure gold (999) would be too soft to wear as jewelry. In German-speaking countries, 585 gold is considered the ideal balance of value retention, depth of color, and durability. In our Italian gold jewelry collection, we work exclusively with solid 585 gold—not gold-plated or gold-filled.
585 gold contains 58.5% pure gold, while 750 gold contains 75%. Visually, 750 gold has a more intense, warmer color, but it is also softer and more prone to scratches. 585 gold is significantly more durable for everyday wear and retains its shine for years — which is why it is the most widely used alloy for high-quality everyday jewelry in the German-speaking region. 750 gold is typically chosen for special occasions or wedding rings. Both are genuine gold alloys with a documented gold content. Splendido jewelry deliberately uses 585 gold — the right choice for jewelry worn every day.
Yes, 585 gold is real gold. The designation “585” refers to a pure gold content of 58.5% under Austrian and German hallmarking laws. Each of our pieces of jewelry bears the corresponding hallmark (585), documenting its authenticity. Unlike gold-plated jewelry (a thin layer of gold on another metal) or gold vermeil (a gold layer on silver), 585 gold is solid, continuous precious metal. Even after years, the gold core remains unchanged—it cannot flake or wear away.
925 silver, also known as sterling silver, is a silver alloy consisting of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals (usually copper). Pure silver (999) would be too soft for jewelry making. The addition of other metals gives 925 silver the necessary strength without compromising its characteristic shine or high-quality appearance. It is the international standard for high-quality silver jewelry. All pieces in our silver jewelry collection are made of 925 sterling silver and are accordingly hallmarked.
The hallmark is a small, legally required stamp on a piece of jewellery that certifies its precious-metal content. “585” stands for 58.5% gold content (14 karat), “750” for 75% (18 karat), and “925” for 92.5% silver content (sterling silver). In Austria, hallmarking is required by law; in Germany, it is voluntary. You will usually find it inside a ring, on the clasp loop of a necklace, or on the back of a pendant. All Splendido jewellery is marked in accordance with Austrian hallmarking law (fineness and manufacturer or responsible-party hallmark)—we check this for every individual piece.
585 gold is generally very well tolerated, as its gold content is high and the proportion of potentially allergenic metals is limited. Nickel is usually the cause of jewelry allergies—a metal commonly used in inexpensive costume jewelry. Our 585 gold alloys are low in nickel or nickel-free and comply with the EU Nickel Directive. Our 925 silver jewelry is also manufactured in accordance with EU guidelines. Those with very sensitive skin should also avoid contact with perfume, creams, and perspiration while wearing jewelry.
White gold and silver may look similar at first glance, but they are fundamentally different. White gold is a gold alloy made by mixing white metals (palladium, silver) with gold—it is therefore real gold with a whitish color. Silver is a precious metal in its own right. White gold is significantly more expensive and valuable than silver, as well as harder and more durable. Silver, on the other hand, tarnishes over time and requires regular care. A jeweler can immediately tell the two apart by their luster and weight. With Splendido jewelry, you can identify white gold by the 585 hallmark and silver by the 925 hallmark.
Bicolor jewelry combines two different gold colors—usually yellow gold and white gold—in a single piece. The result: a modern, versatile look that can be paired with both silver- and gold-colored jewelry. Bicolor pieces are ideal if you do not want to switch between different jewelry tones every day. The craftsmanship is demanding, as two alloys must be joined together with precision. Italian goldsmiths, whose workshops produce our pieces, have mastered this technique for generations. Discover selected bicolor pieces in our entire collection.
For jewelry you wear every day, we clearly recommend 585 gold. The reason: thanks to its alloy, 585 gold is significantly harder and more resistant to scratches, impacts, and everyday wear than the softer 750 gold. Over the years, a 585 gold ring or chain retains its shape and surface better. 750 gold is more suitable for occasion jewelry or wedding rings that are subjected to less mechanical stress. For this reason, we at Splendido Schmuck have chosen 585 gold — all our gold chains, gold rings, and gold bracelets are made from this durable alloy.
We do not currently offer engraving. All jewelry pieces are supplied as shown and described in the shop.
Care & Cleaning
Clean gold jewelry gently with lukewarm water, a little mild soapy water (e.g., dishwashing liquid), and a soft toothbrush. Soak the piece of jewelry for 5–10 minutes, gently brush along the recesses, and rinse with clean water. Dry with a lint-free cloth. For heavily soiled or delicate pieces, professional ultrasonic cleaning at a jeweler is recommended. Avoid harsh cleaners, bleach, or toothpaste — these can damage the surface. For our 585 gold jewelry collection, this routine every 4–6 weeks is sufficient.
Tarnished silver can be cleaned effectively with simple household remedies. The gentlest method: Place the silver piece in a bowl lined with aluminum foil, add 1 tbsp of baking soda and hot water. After 5–10 minutes, the black patina will usually have disappeared. Alternatively, a silver polishing cloth (available from jewelers) works very well. Avoid stiff brushes or cleaning pastes, which can leave microscopic scratches. For heavily tarnished pieces or those set with stones, we recommend professional cleaning. If you care for your silver jewelry regularly, it will remain shiny for years. Our 925 silver is rhodium-plated and therefore tarnishes significantly more slowly than untreated silver.
The three most effective home remedies: First, baking soda + aluminum foil + hot water (a chemical reaction removes the sulfide layer). Second, a mixture of baking powder and water made into a paste—gently rub it in with your fingers or a soft cloth. Third, citric acid (1 tsp per glass of warm water), in which the piece is soaked for 5 minutes. Important: do not use hard brushes, and do not immerse silver with gemstones or pearls in acidic solutions. Rinse thoroughly and rub dry after each cleaning. These methods are inexpensive, safe, and tried and tested for generations. Our 925 silver is rhodium-plated, so it tarnishes significantly more slowly than untreated silver.
Silver tarnishes when it reacts with sulfur compounds in the air, perspiration, or certain cosmetics. You can prevent this in four ways: First, store silver in an airtight container—ideally in a small zip-top bag or the original jewelry box with an anti-tarnish lining. Second, wear silver regularly—skin contact slows tarnishing. Third, protect it from contact with perfume, hairspray, and creams. Fourth, polish it occasionally with a soft cloth. With this routine, your silver jewelry will remain shiny for many years. Our 925 sterling silver is rhodium-plated, so it tarnishes significantly more slowly than untreated silver.
We recommend removing jewelry before showering, bathing, or swimming. Although 585 gold and 925 silver are themselves waterproof, soaps, shampoos, chlorine, and salt water can damage the surface, loosen stone settings, and cause the jewelry to lose its luster over time. Silver in particular tarnishes more quickly through contact with sweat and water. If you do wear jewelry in the shower, rinse it afterward with clean water and dry it thoroughly. For worry-free daily wear: put your jewelry on last in the morning and take it off first in the evening.
925 silver itself is water-resistant—the metal does not corrode on contact with water. However, frequent contact with water combined with soap, salt, or chlorine can cause it to tarnish more quickly and lose its shine. Loose stone settings can also be weakened by repeated exposure to water. Short-term contact with water (e.g., washing your hands) is harmless. We advise against wearing it in the pool, sea, or shower. If you don’t want to go without jewelry in summer, it’s better to choose simple pieces without delicate settings or gemstones for the beach and pool.
Ideally, store your jewelry in a dry, dark jewelry box with a soft lining. Store each piece separately—either in separate compartments or in small fabric pouches—to prevent scratches caused by rubbing against one another. Silver benefits from being kept in an airtight container (zip-top bag) to reduce tarnishing caused by contact with air. Chains should be stored unclasped to prevent them from tangling. Avoid bathrooms and windowsills (high humidity, UV light). With Splendido jewelry, you receive a protective jewelry box with every order as a storage solution.
We recommend always putting on jewelry last — after perfume, body lotion, sunscreen, or hairspray. These products contain alcohols, oils, and acids that can permanently dull precious metals, clog stone settings, and, especially with silver, accelerate tarnishing. In the event of direct contact, wipe the piece with a soft cloth. A simple routine that makes a big difference: skincare first, then perfume, then jewelry. This helps preserve the shine and setting of your gold jewelry for the long term.
Ultrasonic cleaning is very effective for most 585 gold pieces without delicate gemstones. However, caution is advised with: pearls, emeralds, opals, turquoise (porous or set—these may be damaged), loosely set stones (diamonds in loose prong settings), and engraved or lacquered pieces. Solid gold chains, simple gold rings, and unmounted jewelry are generally safe to clean. If in doubt, have the jewelry cleaned by a jeweler who can check the type of stone and choose the appropriate method.
A wedding ring is worn every day—and that daily wear is also what makes it require the most care. Three basic rules: First, take it off when showering, exercising, cleaning, and swimming (chlorine and cleaning products are the main causes of dullness). Second, clean it every 4–6 weeks with lukewarm soapy water and a soft brush. Third, take it to a jeweler once a year for professional polishing and a gemstone inspection. A jeweler can remove light scratches and restore the ring’s appearance. This way, 585 gold remains a piece filled with memories and shine even after 10, 20, or 30 years.
Sizes & Measurements
There are two simple methods. Method 1 (paper strip): Cut a 1 cm-wide strip of paper, wrap it around the base of your finger, mark where the paper overlaps, and measure the length in millimeters. This number corresponds to the inner circumference in mm = EU ring size. Method 2 (existing ring): Measure the inside diameter of a well-fitting ring with a ruler and compare it with our size chart. It is best to measure in the evening, as fingers are thinner in the morning. If in doubt, choose the next larger size.
The EU ring size corresponds to the ring’s inner circumference in millimetres. For example: a ring with an inner circumference of 54 mm is size 54. The most common sizes for women are between 49 and 58, and for men between 56 and 66. The most accurate method is to measure an existing ring that fits the desired finger or visit a jeweller with ring-size templates. Pay attention to the finger: not every finger is the same size—the ring finger of the dominant hand is usually slightly larger than that of the non-dominant hand.
Three discreet methods: First, borrow a ring the person has already worn (e.g., a costume jewelry ring from their bedside table) and measure the inside diameter with a ruler—this number × 3.14 = the inner circumference (EU size). Second, carefully place a ring on paper at night and trace the inner circle. Third, ask a trusted third person (sister, friend). Important: Which finger will the ring be worn on? The middle finger is usually ½–1 size larger than the ring finger. When in doubt, choose the next larger size—a ring can be made smaller more easily than larger.
The ideal chain length depends on the desired fit and neckline. The most common lengths for women are:
- 38–42 cm (choker): sits close around the neck, suitable for off-the-shoulder outfits - 45 cm (classic): rests on the collarbone, versatile to style - 50 cm (standard): falls just below the collarbone, ideal for pendants - 55–60 cm (matinée): falls over the chest area, looks beautiful with V-necklines - 70 cm+ (opera): long chain that can be worn doubled
For a first high-quality piece of jewelry, we recommend 45 or 50 cm — the two most versatile standard lengths. Our gold chains are available in all common lengths.
The standard lengths for women’s necklaces established in the DACH region are 38, 40, 42, 45, 50, 55, 60, and 70 cm. 45 cm is the best-selling standard length—it falls just below the collarbone and pairs well with almost any neckline. 50 cm sits perfectly with pendants. 38–42 cm are choker or collar lengths. At Splendido Jewellery, we offer the common lengths for each model. Some necklaces can also be flexibly adjusted with an extension chain (3–5 cm).
The standard size for women’s bracelets is 17–19 cm in length. To determine your size, measure the circumference of your wrist with a tape measure just above the wrist bone — add 1–2 cm for a looser fit or 0.5 cm for a snugger fit. Example: 16 cm wrist + 1.5 cm allowance = 17.5 cm bracelet length. Tennis bracelets are usually worn more snugly (16.5–17.5 cm), while anchor bracelets are worn somewhat looser (18–19 cm). Many of our bracelets can be adjusted by 1–2 cm increments using the clasp.
The EU ring size directly corresponds to the inner circumference in millimetres (e.g. inner circumference 54 mm = EU size 54). For conversion to other systems:
- US size: EU 52 ≈ US 6, EU 54 ≈ US 6¾, EU 56 ≈ US 7½ - UK size: EU 52 ≈ UK L, EU 54 ≈ UK N, EU 56 ≈ UK O½ - Japanese size: EU 52 ≈ 12, EU 54 ≈ 14, EU 56 ≈ 16
As these systems cannot be converted linearly, we recommend that customers ordering from abroad measure the inner circumference directly in mm and compare it with our EU scale.
A very personal question—and yet, some general guidelines can be given. For women over 40 with a classic style, we recommend chain lengths between 45 and 55 cm. The 45 cm chain rests on the collarbone and flatters both rounder and more delicate facial features. 50–55 cm place a pendant over the décolleté and create an elongating effect—ideal with classic blouses or knit dresses. If you want to visually lengthen a short neck, choose 55+ cm; to accentuate a longer neck, choose a 42–45 cm chain. A delicate 45 cm gold chain from our Italian collection is one of the most versatile pieces of jewelry ever.
For shorter women, very long necklaces can often feel overwhelming. We recommend lengths between 40 and 50 cm — they accentuate the neck and collarbone without disrupting proportions. 42–45 cm is the ideal all-purpose length, sitting just below the collarbone and complementing virtually any neckline. A 50 cm necklace with a delicate pendant creates a visually elongating effect and looks elegant with V-necklines. Avoid very long necklaces (70+ cm), which can quickly appear disproportionate. Delicate pendants are preferable to large statement pieces.
We do not resize rings. If your ring does not fit, you have two options:
Exchange: Return the ring within 30 days and receive the correct size. Return shipping is free of charge — we will send you the return label by email.
Custom-made: If your size is not available in the shop, we can have the ring made in your size upon request. Please contact us at info@splendido.at — we will check what is possible and let you know the price and timeframe. Please note: Custom-made items are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
Orders & Payment
In our online shop, you can pay securely and flexibly using the following payment methods: payment in advance by bank transfer, PayPal, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, EPS, Klarna, and the USDC stablecoin. Klarna invoice payment allows you to receive your order first and pay after 14 or 30 days. Here’s how it works: At checkout, select “Klarna — Pay by invoice.” Klarna carries out a quick credit check (no Schufa entry if approved). After confirmation, complete your order and we will ship the jewelry. Klarna will then send you an invoice by email with payment instructions and the due date. Payment is made directly to Klarna, not to Splendido Schmuck. An ideal option if you would like to examine the piece at your leisure before paying.
Yes, we offer Klarna installment payments for higher-value jewelry. Klarna displays the available terms, conditions, and minimum amounts directly at checkout. Klarna will perform a credit check. The order will be shipped once approved.
Yes, PayPal is one of our most popular payment methods. At checkout, select “PayPal,” you will be redirected to the PayPal website, and confirm with your login details. Payment is processed immediately, and your order will be handled without delay. PayPal offers additional buyer protection — if there are any problems with your order, you can use PayPal’s dispute resolution process. Refunds via PayPal are also very fast (within 1–3 business days after the return has been confirmed). We accept both PayPal with a balance and PayPal linked to a bank account or credit card.
Gift vouchers from Splendido Jewellery are digital and contain a 16-digit redemption code. To redeem your voucher: Select your jewellery and proceed to checkout. In the “Payment” step, enter the voucher code in the “Voucher or discount code” field and click “Apply”. The voucher amount will be deducted from the total. If the order value is higher than the voucher value, pay the difference using one of the available payment methods. If it is lower, the remaining balance stays on the voucher for a future order. Vouchers are valid for 3 years.
Yes, automatically. With every order, you will receive a proper invoice by email showing Austrian VAT (20%) and our VAT identification number ATU80669028. The invoice meets all requirements of Austrian and German tax law and can be used for both private and business purposes. For deliveries to Germany, the Netherlands, or Belgium, tax is handled in accordance with EU distance-selling regulations. If you require a specific billing address (e.g. a company address different from the delivery address), enter it during the ordering process under “Billing address”.
Yes. When placing your order, enter your company name in the “Company name” field and your VAT ID in the “VAT ID number” field (or the notes field). We will automatically issue an invoice showing your VAT ID, our VAT ID (ATU80669028), and the correct reverse-charge accounting treatment (for intra-Community supplies). This invoice meets all requirements for reclaiming input VAT. For intra-Community B2B transactions within the EU, we check your VAT ID against the VIES database; if it is valid, the goods will be supplied at the net price. If you are unsure, please contact us by email at info@splendido.at before placing your order.

This is particularly recommended for time-sensitive gifts such as birthdays, anniversaries, or milestone celebrations. Within Austria, we ship insured with Austrian Post; your order will normally arrive within 1–2 business days anyway. We ship no later than the second business day after receipt of payment. Yes, every order is shipped fully insured. The insurance covers loss, damage, and theft until delivery to you. Should anything happen during transit despite every precaution, we will replace the order or issue a full refund—you bear no risk. For this reason, we only ship with tracking. This protection is already included in every shipping fee.
Each piece of jewelry arrives in a high-quality jewelry box, wrapped in tissue paper and cushioned in a sturdy shipping carton. The box also serves as a long-term storage solution—we use a soft, anti-static lining that protects precious metals from scratches. The outer packaging is discreet (no branding), so even surprise gifts can be delivered without revealing their contents. Gift wrapping is included with every order. Upon request, we can include a handwritten greeting card—simply enter your message in the notes field when placing your order.
Yes. During the ordering process, you can enter an address under “Delivery address” that differs from your billing address — perfect for gifts that should be sent directly to the recipient. If you wish, we can include a personal greeting card with a handwritten message (use the notes field when placing your order). The price is not visible on the packaging; you will receive the invoice separately by email. This keeps the gift a surprise. For deliveries abroad (DE, NL, BE), the tax treatment remains the same regardless of the delivery address.
Orders placed from Monday to Friday before 12:00 p.m. are dispatched no later than the second following business day.
Delivery within Austria then takes 1–2 business days with Austrian Post, and 3–5 business days to Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium with UPS Standard — or 1–2 business days if you selected UPS Express at checkout.
As soon as your order leaves our premises, you will receive an email with the tracking number and a link to track your shipment.
You can also view the current status at any time in your customer account under “Orders.” Within Austria, we ship insured via Österreichische Post; to Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, we ship with UPS.
Please contact us—ideally with a photo of the opened shipment and its packaging. We’ll take care of it for you.
A quick note in advance: If not all ordered items are available at the same time, we ship them in partial deliveries. In this case, you will incur no additional shipping costs, and the second part will arrive automatically—you don’t need to place another order.
We’re sorry — this should not have happened, of course. Please email us at info@splendido.at with photos of the jewelry and its packaging.
We will cover the return shipping in full and send you the correct or a flawless replacement item free of charge — or refund the purchase price if you prefer.
Please accept the delivery and, if possible, photograph the package before opening it — this will help us clarify the matter with the delivery service.
If the jewelry is also damaged, email us the photos at info@splendido.at. We will arrange a replacement or refund; we will handle the matter with the shipping provider.
Please first check whether the shipment was left with a neighbor, at your front door, or at an agreed safe place, and whether a delivery notice was left. Quite often, the delivery is recorded in the system in advance and the package arrives on the next business day.
If nothing has arrived after two business days, please contact us: We will initiate an investigation with the carrier and get back to you with the result.
Returns & Warranty
By law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of the goods; we voluntarily extend this period to 30 days. During this time, you may return the jewellery without giving a reason—and inspect it beforehand, just as you would be able to in a physical store. If its use goes beyond this, we reserve the right to claim reasonable compensation for any loss in value (§ 16 FAGG). Register the return in your customer account or contact us at widerruf@splendido.at. By law, the refund is issued within 14 days of your declaration of withdrawal, usually within 7 business days of receiving your return.
Yes. In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, we voluntarily grant you a 30-day right of return from the delivery date. This extended period gives you the opportunity to view and compare the jewelry at your leisure or try it as a surprise gift. You may inspect and try on the jewelry, just as you would be able to in a store; if its use goes beyond this, we reserve the right to charge reasonable compensation for any loss in value. Custom-made items—pieces made specifically for you—are excluded. Register the return in your customer account or email us at widerruf@splendido.at.
Unfortunately, not for custom-made pieces: items made specifically for you according to your specifications — such as a ring in a size we do not carry — are excluded from the right of withdrawal (§ 18 para. 1 no. 3 FAGG). We do not offer engraving. Please carefully check the measurements and special requests before placing your order; if you are unsure, contact us beforehand. If an item has a material or workmanship defect, the statutory warranty of conformity naturally applies.
We do not resize rings. If a ring does not fit, you have two options: Exchange — return the ring within 30 days and we will send you the appropriate size, subject to availability; return shipping is free of charge for you. Custom order — if your size is not available in the shop, we can have the ring made especially for you upon request, provided the model allows it. Write to us at info@splendido.at: we will check what is possible and tell you the price and lead time before you decide. Please note that custom-made items are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
None. Returns are free of charge for you—the costs are covered by Splendido e.U. After you notify us of your cancellation, we will send you a prepaid return label by email; simply drop off the package with the specified shipping provider. We recommend keeping the proof of postage until you have received your refund. As soon as you have properly shipped the goods, we bear the risk of transport.
Every piece of jewelry is covered by the statutory warranty for at least two years from delivery. It applies if the goods did not conform to the contract upon delivery—for example, due to a material or workmanship defect. You may then request a repair or replacement; the choice is yours. If neither is possible or successful, you may reduce the price or withdraw from the contract. This is free of charge for you, including return shipping and reshipping. Keep the invoice as proof of purchase and contact us at garantie@splendido.at.
This covers defects that were already present upon delivery: broken clasps, stones that come loose during normal use, and faulty workmanship. It does not cover changes that occur later through use — natural wear and fine scratches, damage caused by dropping or improper handling, discoloration caused by perfume, creams, or chlorinated water, loss, or theft. Send us photos and a brief description at garantie@splendido.at — we will get back to you within 2 business days.
If your jewelry arrives with a defect — for example, damaged during shipping, a faulty clasp, or something similar — please contact us as soon as possible. Send an email to garantie@splendido.at with your order number and 2–3 photos of the damage. We will review the case within 1–2 business days and offer you an immediate solution: a replacement or a full refund. In such cases, we cover the return shipping costs in full. Insured shipping helps ensure that such incidents remain rare exceptions — we handle every individual case with care.
Through your customer account, in four steps: log in, open the relevant order, request a return in the top right, and select the items. We will confirm your request and send you the free return label by email.
You do not need a password to log in — you will receive a login code by email. You have 30 days from delivery to register your return. You can also declare your cancellation informally by email to widerruf@splendido.at. You can find detailed instructions on the Delivery & Returns page.
We do not offer our own repair service. If there is a material or manufacturing defect, the statutory warranty applies—we will take care of it, and it is free of charge for you, including shipping. For damage caused by use or an accident, it is best to contact a local jeweler. Nevertheless, feel free to email us a photo at garantie@splendido.at: we will tell you honestly what the issue is.
In many cases, yes. We do not stock individual components in our shop — please contact us directly.
Write to info@splendido.at or contact us via WhatsApp at +43 681 20808264 and provide the name of the piece of jewelry or your order number. We will check whether the matching component is available and get back to you with a suggestion.
Gifts & Occasions
For Mother’s Day, choose jewelry that expresses warmth and personal connection. Our recommendations from the Italian collection: a delicate 585 gold necklace with a pendant (e.g., a heart, gemstone, or initial) — the most versatile gift for every style; a discreet bracelet that can be worn every day; classic gold stud earrings with a diamond or cubic zirconia. Avoid oversized statement pieces if you are unsure — delicate, classic pieces are almost always the safer choice. Browse our entire collection, filtered by suitable occasions.
Women over 40 appreciate jewelry with character, quality, and timeless elegance — unlike the trend pieces of their 20s. Tried-and-tested gift ideas include a solid 585 gold chain measuring 45–50 cm (versatile and a classic for decades); a delicate gold ring with a diamond or gemstone; and medium-sized gold earrings — neither too eye-catching nor too understated. Look for high-quality materials (solid gold rather than gold-plated) and a style that suits her personality. Our Italian gold jewelry collection is specially designed for discerning women with classic, elegant tastes.
Classic and always the right choice: an engagement ring with a diamond in 585 gold or white gold. The most popular stone sizes range from 0.2 to 0.5 carats in a solitaire setting. For a less classic look, choose a ring with a small colored gemstone (sapphire, emerald, or ruby)—a tradition made famous by European royal families. Important: discreetly find out the correct ring size in advance (see “How do I find out the right ring size?”). Our gold rings with diamonds offer a variety of setting styles—from the classic solitaire to the modern trilogy ring.
For the bride: a delicate gold necklace with a fine pendant (she will wear it under her wedding dress, so it should be lightweight and understated), elegant diamond stud earrings (they suit any dress style), or a delicate bracelet. For the bridesmaids: matching jewelry as a symbol of their bond — for example, delicate gold bracelets with identical pendants. For the mothers of the bride and groom: high-quality gold earrings or a classic gold necklace. Avoid overly eye-catching pieces that compete with the bridal jewelry. For christening gifts, small, durable, and non-toxic pieces of 585 gold or 925 sterling silver are traditionally the right choice. Popular gifts include a delicate gold necklace with a cross, angel, or heart pendant; a small gold bracelet or charm bracelet that can be expanded later; or a delicate silver christening ring. Look for secure clasps and nickel-free materials. A piece the child can wear every day later on will be remembered longer than something especially eye-catching. Our pendant selection includes classic christening motifs.
For a confirmation ceremony, jewelry with symbolic value is a beautiful tradition. Classics include a 585 gold cross or a small Madonna pendant on a delicate gold chain; a ring with a birthstone or personal symbol; and a bracelet that can continue to be worn into adulthood. Choose a piece that is age-appropriate while still mature enough to be cherished in 5 or 10 years. Solid 585 gold pieces grow with the wearer throughout life. A piece the recipient can wear every day will be remembered longer than something particularly eye-catching.
Valentine’s Day is all about romantic gestures — jewelry with symbolic meaning strikes the right note. Our recommendations: a heart pendant on a delicate gold chain (a classic); a diamond bracelet or tennis bracelet (timeless and feminine); a ring with a small gemstone (more subtle than an engagement ring, yet meaningful); earrings with a diamond or gemstone. Those who want something even more personal can choose a piece that suits the wearer — a color, a symbol, or a stone with special meaning. Important: order in good time — Valentine’s Day is peak season, and delivery times may be longer. Our gold chains with diamonds are particularly popular.
Anniversaries deserve jewelry with substance and meaning. Traditional material associations: 25 years (silver anniversary) — high-quality sterling silver jewelry; 30 years (pearl anniversary) — jewelry with pearls; 40 years (ruby anniversary) — jewelry with rubies; 50 years (golden anniversary) — gold jewelry, preferably in 585 or 750 gold. For a 25th anniversary, we recommend a high-quality 925 sterling silver piece with a brilliant-cut diamond or gemstone accent — a lasting, beautiful reminder. A piece the recipient can wear every day will be remembered longer than something particularly flashy.
In a business-casual context, the golden rule is: delicate, understated, and high-quality. Recommendations: a 585 gold chain measuring 45 cm with a small pendant (sits beneath the shirt collar, visible but not distracting); delicate gold studs or small hoop earrings (max. 1.5 cm in diameter); a simple gold ring (band ring or small solitaire)—avoid overly eye-catching statement jewelry. A delicate gold bracelet or charm bracelet perfectly complements an office look. Important: avoid stylistic clashes—combine no more than 2–3 pieces of jewelry at a time. Our Italian gold jewelry collection was specially curated for sophisticated everyday and office styles.
Everyday jewelry must meet three criteria: high quality (to ensure daily wearing comfort), durable (resistant to quick tarnishing or damage), and timeless (suitable for every outfit and occasion). Solid 585 gold meets all these requirements — unlike gold-plated pieces or fashion jewelry. Our recommendation for an “everyday jewelry set” for working women over 40: a 45 cm 585 gold chain + delicate gold stud earrings + a classic gold ring + a discreet bracelet. These four pieces from our Splendido Collection will accompany you from the office to appointments and dinner — without ever looking out of place. Italian goldsmith craftsmanship, hand-selected.
