§ 1 Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop at www.splendido.at. All company details can be viewed on our Legal Notice page.
A consumer within the meaning of these General Terms and Conditions is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade or self-employed professional activity.
The following General Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Splendido e.U. and the customer in the version valid at the time of the order. Differing terms and conditions of the customer are not recognised unless Splendido e.U. has expressly agreed to their application in writing.
These General Terms and Conditions can be viewed on our website at any time and may be printed out or saved by you. We reserve the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions at any time. All amendments take effect upon publication on our website. For each concluded contract of sale, the version of the General Terms and Conditions valid at the time of the order applies.
The contract language is German. In the event of any discrepancy between the German version and a translation, only the German version is legally binding. Automatic translations are provided for information purposes only and do not give rise to any legal claims.
§ 2 Formation of the Contract

The presentation of the products in the online shop serves merely as a visual presentation and does not constitute a legally binding offer. The contract is only concluded through our express order confirmation by email or through the delivery of the goods. The automatic acknowledgement of receipt following completion of the order does not yet constitute acceptance of the offer.
We do not verify the accuracy of the data you submit and therefore accept no liability for any errors in the customer's details.
We do not accept orders where the specified delivery address belongs to a company or person providing freight-forwarding services. Should we inadvertently accept such an order, we reserve the right to cancel it after prior notification by email.
The ordering process is as follows:
- Add the desired product to the shopping cart (the "Add to cart" button)
- Review the shopping cart and adjust it if necessary
- Proceed to checkout via the "Checkout" button
- Enter your personal details, delivery address and preferred payment method
- Place a binding order by clicking the "Pay now" button
The contract of sale is concluded as soon as we accept your order through an order confirmation by email or dispatch the goods. If you have a customer account, you can view your order details there at any time.
§ 3 Prices
All prices stated on the product pages are inclusive of statutory value added tax and in euros (€). We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Only the price displayed at the time of the order is binding.
Should a product be offered at an obviously incorrect price due to a technical or editorial error, we reserve the right to cancel or correct the affected orders. In such cases, the customer will be informed without delay.
Shipping costs are set out in § 5 of these General Terms and Conditions as well as on the product pages, in the shopping cart and on the order page. Before completion of the order, the total price including all applicable costs is displayed.
For international orders, currency exchange fees may apply, which are to be borne by the customer.
§ 4 Delivery and Delivery Conditions
Splendido e.U. currently delivers exclusively to delivery addresses within the following countries:
- Austria (AT)
- Germany (DE)
- Netherlands (NL)
An expansion of the delivery area to further EU countries is in preparation. Orders from other countries can be registered via our waiting list in order to be informed as a priority when we launch in your country.
The delivery time is generally 3–5 business days, unless otherwise stated on the respective product page. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country.
Orders received Monday to Friday before 12:00 are dispatched no later than the second following business day, provided that day is not a public holiday.
Optionally, we offer express delivery within Austria for an additional charge of €12. The order leaves our warehouse on the next business day and should arrive at the customer by 13:00 on the following day.
We accept no liability for delays caused by the commissioned shipping service providers.
If not all ordered products are in stock, we are entitled to make partial deliveries, insofar as this is reasonable for the customer. Additional shipping costs for partial deliveries only apply by express agreement.
If the customer refuses to accept the goods or does not collect the consignment within the storage period set by the carrier, the customer is in default of acceptance. The customer bears the actual additional costs incurred as a result (in particular return shipment and renewed delivery costs); we are entitled to deduct these from any refund. If the returned goods or their case/packaging show damage going beyond a mere inspection, we reserve the right to claim reasonable compensation for diminished value pursuant to § 16 FAGG. This does not apply insofar as the customer has effectively withdrawn from the contract.
If an ordered product is permanently unavailable because we are not supplied by our suppliers through no fault of our own, we may withdraw from the contract. In this case, we will inform the customer without delay and, where appropriate, propose a comparable product. If this is declined, the purchase amount will be refunded in full.
§ 5 Shipping Costs
Splendido e.U. offers free shipping for all orders to the following countries, regardless of the order value:
- Austria (AT): free shipping
- Germany (DE): free shipping
- Netherlands (NL): free shipping
Optionally, express delivery within Austria can be selected for an additional charge of €12 (see § 4).
The shipping costs are stated on the product pages, in the shopping cart and on the order page before completion of the order.
For cross-border deliveries, additional taxes (e.g. in the context of an intra-Community acquisition) and/or customs duties may apply in individual cases, which are to be borne by the customer.
The costs of the return shipment are borne by Splendido e.U. (free return shipment, see § 6).
§ 6 Return Policy & Right of Withdrawal
All items are carefully checked, inspected and documented before dispatch to ensure that they meet our quality standards.
Voluntary 30-day right of return
As a special service, we grant our customers a voluntary right of return of 30 days from receipt of the goods — this goes beyond the statutory minimum period of 14 days and constitutes a voluntary service provided by Splendido e.U.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email). We recommend using the declaration of withdrawal by email to: widerruf@splendido.at
Return conditions – Please read carefully
You have the right to inspect the item – just as you would be able to in a shop (e.g. briefly trying it on in front of a mirror). An inspection is possible without removing the security seal or tag.
Each piece of jewellery is delivered with a security seal (tag) that indicates the original condition.
Full refund (100%): If the item is returned with the security seal intact, in its original condition and original packaging, we will refund the full purchase price within 7 business days of receipt and inspection of the goods.
Compensation for diminished value in case of signs of use: If the security seal is removed or the item shows signs of use going beyond a mere inspection (e.g. signs of wear, scratches, residues of cosmetics, perfume or skin contact, stretched chains), we reserve the right to deduct reasonable compensation for the diminished value from the refund. If the item can no longer be sold as new, this compensation for diminished value may amount to the full value of the goods (§ 16 FAGG).
The free return shipment is a service offer for a genuine purchase decision – not for the temporary use ("rental") of jewellery. We ask for fair dealing.
Return shipping costs
The return is free of charge for you. The costs of the return shipment are borne by Splendido e.U. Upon receipt of your declaration of withdrawal, we will provide you with a free return shipping label by email. If this is not possible, we will reimburse the return shipping costs.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not exist for goods that have been made to the customer's specifications or are clearly tailored to the customer's personal needs.
Customer's responsibility
The customer bears responsibility for the return shipment as well as for any diminished value of the goods resulting from use going beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Completion of the withdrawal
The withdrawal is deemed completed as soon as the items have been received and inspected by us. The refund is made promptly after the inspection has been completed, via the payment method chosen at the time of the order.
We reserve the right, in the case of the return of damaged pieces of jewellery or damaged packaging, to deduct a reasonable amount from the refund.
§ 7 Payment
Payment can be made by advance payment via bank transfer. In addition, we offer the following payment methods: PayPal, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, EPS, Klarna Sofortüberweisung as well as USDC stablecoin.
We reserve the right to cancel orders made using suspicious or doubtful payment methods. In such cases, we will contact the customer promptly in order to clarify the situation and, where appropriate, agree on an alternative payment method.
When using alternative payment methods that do not involve a direct bank transfer, the privacy policies of the respective payment providers apply with regard to the collection, storage and processing of personal data.
Advance payment by bank transfer: After receipt of the order, we will provide you with our bank details. Delivery takes place after receipt of payment. Please allow a processing time of 2–3 business days. The transfer must be received within 7 business days of the order date. Should payment not be received within this period, we reserve the right to withdraw from the contract of sale.
USDC (USD Coin): We accept USDC payments via Shopify Payments on the Base network. The USDC amount paid is automatically converted into euros and credited to your purchase — with no additional exchange fees. Please note that the customer must hold USDC on the Base network. USDC on other networks (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon) must be bridged to Base before payment. Chargebacks for USDC payments are handled manually. Subscription payments are not possible with USDC.
Credit card: The credit card account is charged upon completion of the order. For all other payment options, the charge is made in accordance with the terms of the respective provider.
Only one discount code can be redeemed per order. Gift voucher codes from Splendido e.U. cannot be used to purchase further gift cards. Splendido e.U. is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of gift cards. Several gift cards can be redeemed per order, with their value automatically deducted from the total amount. Any remaining balances can be settled using other available payment methods.
The deduction of a cash discount is only permissible after express written agreement. A cash payout of online gift vouchers is generally not possible, neither in full nor in part.
§ 8 Retention of Title
The delivered goods remain the property of Splendido e.U. until full payment of the purchase price including all ancillary costs.
Before full transfer of title, pledging, transfer by way of security, processing or alteration of the goods is not permitted without the express written consent of Splendido e.U.

§ 10 Statutory Warranty
The statutory warranty applies to all pieces of jewellery sold. The pieces of jewellery are free from defects at the time of handover and have the agreed characteristics. Warranty claims lapse after the expiry of 2 years from the time of delivery of the goods.
In the event of a demonstrable defect, we reserve the right to repair the piece of jewellery or to exchange it for an item of equal value. This process may take several weeks. The customer will be informed of the procedure.
The warranty does not extend to damage attributable to improper handling, lack of care or normal wear and tear.
The presentation of the products in the online shop may differ slightly from the actual appearance of the delivered goods, in particular with regard to colour and size representation on different screens.
§ 11 Applicable Law
The law of the Republic of Austria applies, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected by this choice of law.
§ 12 Place of Jurisdiction
For disputes arising from or in connection with this contract, the court having subject-matter jurisdiction in Graz, Austria, has jurisdiction, insofar as legally permissible. For consumers resident in another EU member state, the mandatory rules on jurisdiction of the respective country apply.
§ 13 Miscellaneous

Returns must be received by us within 30 days of receipt of the goods. The return shipment is free of charge for you (see § 6). The refund of the purchase price is made via the payment method chosen at the time of the order, no later than within 5–7 business days of receipt and inspection of the return.
The customer bears responsibility for the return shipment as well as for any diminished value of the goods resulting from use going beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
